I've got one more month left on my subscription and no money for another one.

Comp problems and I lost EVERYTHING!!!! All of my iTunes, my stories, my pictures...EVERYTHING! So, if some jackass tells you to do a system restore, don't listen to him.

If anybody can help me by sending me any files of my stories that I may have sent to you, please send it to me. My email is Sorsha2423@yahoo.com.

can you retrieve some stuff from DA or any online storage sites that you use?

I can't imagine how devastating that is, and as an artist these days, your computer is where you keep everything.

I always, always back up everything important before doing any sort of restore, or sending in for repair. Luckily my boyfriend has an external harddrive that I store my music, pictures, documents and other stuff, just in case.

I know that all your great friends on DA and the rest of the internet will help you out as much as they can. I can only give you what you have posted on deviantart.

The comp wouldn't even let us start it up last night. It would start and then just shut down and restart and then shut down, etc. I wanted to take it to a computer specialist but nooooooooooooooooo. Mr. "that's gonna cost money and I need money and even if you pay for it, I'm gonna bitch about it" decided that a system restore would take the comp back to the settings from a few days ago.

As a present today, he bought me a external hard drive. Fat lot of good it does me now.

Now he's not leaving until after July 4th and I sooooooooooo want him and his newly pierced ears the fuck out of here!

I've got back up discs but they're from when we had Norton 360 and that was when we had a free trial. I guess I've got to head out to Best Buy and pick up Norton 360 and hopefully get this fucking mess all straightened out.

I lost all my bookmarks for all my Saiyuki sites. The only artwork site I remember is Egoistic Guess. You don't happen to have any other Saiyuki sites saved, do you?

oh man. Not really. Unfortunately they're all saved on my desktop. The only things I have on here is the saiyuki_manga community, minekura's diary [link] , and the diaries of Sanzo and Goku from the musical

I hope it straightens out dear. There is NOTHING worse than losing your shit

Aw man, that really sucks, lech. To think there's a technology so advanced as to make us dependent upon it, and yet it's still so very fragile.

As for the other stuff...I don't know you well enough comment on it, but...ugh. For him to make that decision that's so painful for you and then decide to stick around a while longer and rub it in? I'm a guy, but men really disgust me sometimes. On behalf of those of us that aren't selfish pricks, I'm sorry, lech.
